Nerves and Bones Rehabilitation Centre, is a specialized rehabilitation entity
located in NTINDA, Kampala Uganda that provides preventive and curative
services that are aimed at eliminating pain relating to bones, nerves, muscles
among others, restoring function physically for those who have limited
functioning of their body such as reduced mobility especially for people
recovering from accidents and stroke while enhancing the mental wellbeing of
our clients. “Our philosophy is prevention rather than treatment of diseases,
injuries and illnesses especially those that come as a result of peoples'
workplaces and general environment through our occupational health and safety
programs.”

Job Summary ⇒ If you are a qualified Physiotherapist looking for an

the perfect job for you. We are looking for a Physiotherapist with a friendly
personality who is always ready to go an extra mile to ensure patients'
comfort and wellbeing, to join our team of healthcare professional.

Key Duties and Responsibilities ⇒
⇗ Perform clinical assessments and obtain a treatment plan basing on the
outcomes.
⇗ Conduct further investigations on the patient's condition where necessary
and explain investigation findings.
⇗ Re- assess the patent and establish treatment progress in comparison to
expected clinical outcomes.
⇗ Conduct research and participate in quality improvement strategies of the
organization.
⇗ Allocate clients the appointment dates for the next visits and follow them
up as it necessitates.
⇗ keeping reports on patients and their progress
⇗ advising patients on leading a healthy lifestyle
⇗ liaising with other healthcare professionals to encourage a holistic
approach to treatment
⇗ staying up to date with developments in treatments
⇗ Participate in all the CMEs meetings
⇗ Any other duties as may be assigned to you by the immediate supervisor from
time to time


Qualifications, Skills and Experience ⇒
⇗ At least three years of work experience in Physiotherapy, Occupational
Therapy, or a related field, with specific experience in orthopedics
⇗ License to practice Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapy and Additional
relevant diplomas e.g. public health. Ergonomics, hospital acute techniques
are an asset.
⇗ Effective inter-personal skills and consensus-building
⇗ Ability to work in a challenging role and demanding environment
⇗ Fluency in oral and written English and any other local language

⇗ Service-oriented with focus on meeting customer needs
⇗ Well-organized and able to manage multiple tasks.
⇗ Very good negotiation and relationship management skills
⇗ Proactive, resourceful, solutions-oriented and results-oriented
⇗ being caring, compassionate, and patient
