Job Summary ⇒ The IT Applications Administrator will provide day to day
service support for all Core Banking Application Services and any other
Applications that support Mission Critical Business Processes and ensure that
business cycles are performed in accordance with the policies and operating
procedures of the Bank.

Key Duties and Responsibilities ⇒
⇗ Manage all Core Banking Application Services i.e. CBS, Investment
Management, Treasury, Intellect ARX, LOS, AML Diagnosing, reporting and fixing
errors with services provided;
⇗ Ensuring utility and warranty for all services of the function following
the ITIL framework
⇗ Management of Disaster recovery and business continuity of services under
the function.
⇗ Testing, installing, managing and upgrading Technology services under the
function.
⇗ Ensuring that service requests and problems under the function are
addressed promptly and in line with agreed TAT
⇗ Developing, documenting and improving the various processes and procedures
for the systems under the function.
⇗ Develop and publish weekly and monthly performance reports, and uptime
reports for all application systems
⇗ Perform close of business processes in line with operating policies and
procedures

Qualifications, Skills and Experience ⇒
⇗ The applicant for the Housing Finance Bank IT Applications Administrator
job opportunity must hold a BSc Honours Information Technology, Computer
Science, Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
⇗ ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management is an added advantage
⇗ At least three years of experience in managing business applications
running on Web Logic
⇗ Technical training in basic Linux Systems Administration
⇗ Web logic System Administration
⇗ Product knowledge and development certification
⇗ Knowledge of PC and server operating systems
⇗ Understanding of Microsoft SQL and Oracle database
⇗ Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
⇗ Consistently approaches work with energy and positive, constructive
attitude
⇗ Superior organization and communication skills, both verbal and written
⇗ Strong attention to detail and skills in monitoring
⇗ Positive and constructive attitude towards work
⇗ Proven initiative, good judgement and confidence
⇗ Ability to meet deadlines without close supervision
⇗ Total commitment to quality and attention to detail
⇗ Impeccable integrity.
