Location: Kabale & Kanungu, Uganda

Work Hours: 8 hours/day
About JCRC
The Joint Clinical Research Centre (JCRC) is an indigenous medical organization established in 1991 as a not-for-profit joint venture between the Uganda Ministry of Health, Ministry of Defense, and Makerere University College of Health Sciences.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide targeted HIV screening & testing services, quality Pre-ART/ adherence and IACS counseling
- Mobilize clients for TB, PrEP in MCH, cancer cervix, NCDs literacy, screening & treatment services
- Offer psychosocial support to caregivers of children, adolescents & adult PLHIV
- Support client linkages to ART/TB Treatment and retention programs
- Conduct integrated community outreaches for non-suppressed clients
- Engage in household/social contacts TB tracing and Community TB Screening
- Maintain accurate daily activity logs and reports
- Perform other duties as assigned for patient/client wellbeing
Qualifications & Skills
- HIV/AIDS Counselling Certificate or diploma in Counselling and Guidance
- Medical training in nursing or midwifery (added advantage)
- Experience/willingness to work in rural health facilities
- Knowledge of current MOH HIV/TB guidelines and donor priorities
- Proficiency in local language
