Platinum Credit is a leading Regional Micro Finance Company providing emergency loans to employed individuals in Africa. The company has a wide spread branch network in Uganda and offers various products including; Civil Servant Loans, Logbook Finance Loans, SME Loans and Private Sector loans among others. Platinum Credit (U) Ltd is a subsidiary of Platcorp Holdings Ltd.

Job Summary

The overall purpose of the role is to grow the portfolio of the team month on month while maintaining high portfolio quality through a motivated team and satisfied customers.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Meeting set monthly sales targets.
  • Managing team’s data: Responsible for daily storage, distribution and usage of data.
  • Documentation and reporting: Responsible for compilation of monthly team’s performance report.
  • Responsible for achieving cluster target: Daily monitoring of outbound calls made, thorough follow ups.
  • Recruitment and training: Assist in placement and continuous training of Telesales Officers on product knowledge.
  • Performance management and ensuring discipline for the team.
  • Listen and evaluate a pre-determined number of calls per Agent in a week for all Agents assigned while ensuring that quality standards are met.
  • Analyze Quality Assurance performance trends and conduct pre-determined daily coaching sessions with each Agent while providing effective developmental feedback.
  • Provide a Weekly Evaluation Report
  • Carry out Evaluation feedback sessions with the Agents

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing or a business-related field from a recognized institution.
  • At least two years relevant work experience, one of which must be in a leadership position.

  • Above average people skills/soft skills (includes listening skills, stress management)
  • Analytical capabilities for report writing purposes
  • Integrity and ability to both work in and lead a dynamic team
  • Verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good knowledge of company credit/lending policy
  • Good computer and database skills
